‘Meet the Orchestra’ Soiree

The Musicians of the World Symphony Orchestra (MWSO) cordially invites you to a benefit evening to meet the conductor and the musicians of this new multicultural orchestra, whose mission is to unite highly trained musicians from other countries in an ensemble where they can showcase their talent to their communities and the Montreal public at a reasonable cost. We played five very successful concerts in 2006 and have a wonderful season planned for 2007.

This soiree will be hosted by the orchestra and Marcel Tremblay’s district in their community center building at 6767 Cote des Neiges in the ‘Grande Salle’, between 6pm and 8pm. The building is located across from the Cote des Neiges Plaza. There is plenty of parking in the area and at the maxi parking lot on Bedford .

Please join us for a lovely evening of music, excellent food, with city dignitaries, business people and friends. The orchestra will play a short program at 7pm for everyone’s pleasure, including Rossini, Overture to ‘The Barber of Seville’, Bach; double violin concerto, first movement, and Brahms; Hungarian Dance No. 5.
